This poor guy just needs effective treatment and monitoring, and not to have taxpayers pay to keep him in prison for life. Give him two years in prison, and GPS monitoring and with mandatory treatment for at least 3 years after that and you’ll probably have a productive member of society. If he ends up in prison longer than that I hope someone can file a lawsuit for cruel and unusual punishment.

That law is outdated and doesn’t do society any good.

Meanwhile, a drug dealer selling drugs to kids never sees this kind of time. Even if the drug kills the kids. Same with DUI drivers who kill people. Or people who race on the streets and kill innocent people. The list is quite extensive.

This has NOTHING to do with protecting the public because if that was, others would be in prison too for this kind of sentencing for non-sex-crime related .. crimes.

Seems like this guy has had enough chances, I agree he needs effective treatment but his actions over the years show he cannot be trusted. He is the guy that just continues to shine a bad light on the rest of us who have NEVER been in trouble again. Second chance I agree with, 3rd time you are out.
